XIM University MBA Rural Management 2027 admission is for Batch 2027-29 of the two-year, full-time and fully residential MBA in Rural Management (MBA-RM), run by the School of Rural Management at the New Campus in Harirajpur. The MBA-RM prepares managers to work where business, sustainability and development meet: rural markets, inclusive value chains, livelihoods, social enterprises and purpose-driven start-ups. - Rural Living and Learning Experience (RLLE): in Term II, every student spends six weeks in a village with a host organisation and presents the work at the RLLE Mela.

Apply: XIM University MBA-RM admission uses the common XIM University application form, and the last date to apply is 15 December 2026.
Fee: Rs 1,900 for the first programme or test option, Rs 850 for the second and Rs 400 for each additional option.
Selection: shortlisting on academic merit and test score, then Personal Interview, Writing Ability Test and/or Group Discussion.
XIM University MBA-RM Curriculum Highlights
The XIM University MBA-RM curriculum carries 110.5 credits, with 28 core courses and a wide range of electives. Each credit equals 10 hours of classroom learning or its field equivalent, plus about 10 hours of self-study, and students are expected to give nearly 70 hours a week to academic work. A week usually has 18 to 20 sessions, including immersion courses.

- Register for XAT 2027, CAT 2026, GMAT or NMAT 2026 with the test body, select XGMT 2027 in the application form, or use the rank-holder route.

- Pay the application fee online and keep the confirmation email.
XIM University MBA-RM eligibility for Batch 2027-29 offers two routes, one with a test score and one for top rank holders.
- Degree: a bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline, with at least 55% aggregate marks from a UGC-listed or recognised university.
- Test route: a score in XAT 2027, CAT 2026, GMAT (2025 or 2026), NMAT 2026 or XGMT 2027.
- Rank-holder route: candidates who hold the 1st, 2nd or 3rd rank in their undergraduate programme at their college, institute or university can apply without a test score. A certificate from the head of the institution must be furnished when asked.
- Final-year students: eligible if they complete all degree requirements by 15 June 2027.
- Work experience and age: work experience is not mandatory, and there is no upper age limit.
Shortlisted MBA-RM candidates attend a Personal Interview, Writing Ability Test and/or Group Discussion, offline in one of 12 cities if the rounds are held in person. Rank holders must show a certificate of their rank from the head of their institution when asked.
Gold medals for academic excellence go to the top three MBA-RM rank holders. The Fr M.V.d. Bogaert Gold Medal goes to the topper of the Development Ethics Seminar, the Odisha Jesuit Society Gold Medal to the best all-rounder, and the RLLE Ratna Award, with a cash prize of Rs 5,000, to the best RLLE work.
