XIM University MBA-HRM 2027 admission is for Batch 2027-29 of the two-year, full-time and fully residential MBA in Human Resource Management, run by the School of Human Resource Management at the New Campus in Harirajpur. The programme grew out of the HR specialisation that XIMB offered in its PGDM from 1987. A full two-year PGDM-HRM followed in 2011, and since 2014 it has been the MBA-HRM of XIM University

The MBA-HRM prepares HR professionals who can attract, develop, motivate and retain a diverse workforce, while understanding business, society and government as a whole. As stated by the university, its curriculum is recognised by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), USA, as aligned with its guidelines, and the programme was ranked 2nd in Central Asia and India in the Eduniversal Best Masters ranking 2019.
Industry exposure is built into the course. Each student must attend all sessions of at least two immersion courses taught by HR leaders, on topics such as applied design thinking, the balanced scorecard and HR issues in mergers and acquisitions. After Term II, the whole batch spends three days on an outbound learning programme at the Tata Steel Adventure Foundation, Jamshedpur. Students can also spend one term of the second year at partner schools in France, such as IESEG School of Management and EUROMED Marseille.

- Apply: XIM University MBA-HRM admission uses the common XIM University application form, and the last date to apply is 15 December 2026.
- Fee: Rs 1,900 for the first programme or test option, Rs 850 for the second and Rs 400 for each additional option.
- Selection: shortlisting on the test score, then GD, WAT and PI; the final decision also weighs academics and relevant work experience.
The XIM University MBA-HRM curriculum carries 105 credits: at least 71 core credits and at least 34 elective credits. The two years run as six terms of about three months each, from June to October, October to January, and January to March. Core courses run in the first four terms, and electives begin in Term IV. Students attend about 16 sessions of 90 minutes a week, and the university expects a total workload of about 90 hours a week.

XIM University MBA-HRM eligibility for Batch 2027-29 needs a recognised degree and an admission test score.
- Degree: a bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline, with at least 55% aggregate marks from a UGC-listed or recognised university.
- Final-year students: eligible if they complete all degree requirements by 15 June 2027.
- Admission test: XAT 2027, CAT 2026, GMAT (2025 or 2026), NMAT 2026 or XGMT 2027.
- Work experience and age: work experience is not mandatory, and there is no upper age limit.
Shortlisted MBA-HRM candidates attend Group Discussion, Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview, offline in one of 12 cities if the rounds are held in person. The final selection considers the test score, the interview, past academic record and relevant work experience.
As per the institute, nationalised banks such as SBI offer education loans to XIM University students. Gold medals for academic excellence go to the top three MBA-HRM rank holders, and the Shruti Choudhury Award of Excellence goes to the woman topper.
