The Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)at IIM Jammu is a master’s level programme, leading to the grant of a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). The course structure of MBA Program entails every MBA student to compulsory complete 64.5 core course credits in the first year; 3 credits from the 8-10-week long Summer Internship Program with a company or an organization and 48 course credits through the choice of his/her electives in the second year. Additionally, students are permitted to Audit Courses (Maximum of 3 courses in the 2nd year) by paying the requisite additional fees; Courses of Independent Study (CIS)/Dissertation Projects (with a faculty) in lieu of elective courses. IIM Jammu also has Student Exchange Program (Merit Based) and National and International Live Projects.
Every student has to undergo a mandatory non-credit course on "Happiness" in the first year of the MBA program. Besides, every student needs to compulsorily complete a week-long Bharat Immersion Programme Internship as a partial requirement of the CSR course.
A student must take 48 credits from elective courses offered during the second year. A Student need to take 16 elective courses in the second year provided all elective courses carry 3 credit units. The requirements of number of electives can increase or decrease depending on the credit units of chosen electives. In the first year MBA participants are given a complete flavour of general management as well as different function aspects of management with an objective to develop a holistic view of organizational management. Participants complete 21 credits of core courses in two years. One course credit is equivalent to 100 hours of study including 30 hours of class interaction. The SJMSOM IIT Bombay Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme intends to achieve an optimum balance of Knowledge building, Perspective giving and Skill building courses. A candidate who meets the following admission criteria can apply to Sri Balaji University for the MBA program of his/her choice. A candidate desirous of admission to the MBA program should :
Be a UGC-recognized university graduate with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category).
Students currently in the final year of their graduation and confident of securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks may also apply for the MBA courses. The admission committee may give more weightage to higher marks in graduation.
It is imperative that the candidate should have taken at least one exam out of CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or MH-CET. MAT exams held after Aug/Sept 2024 to May 2025 will be considered for admission to the academic year 2025-27. We believe that true talent cannot be judged based on the score granted by any entrance exam. Hence, we do not have a cut-off score below which if the candidate scores cannot apply to the program.

Cut Offs: Balaji University does not have any specific cut-off scores for CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/MAH-CET. Balaji University gives only 35% of the weightage for the entrance examination while making the merit list.
Group Discussion Round: Candidates who meet the shortlisting requirements are called for the Group Discussion round. This will be for a duration of 30-45 minutes per group. This may include role play, case studies, and extempore speech and GD. 35% of the weightage in the merit list will be given to the GD process. This is an elimination round.
Personal Interview Round: This expert panel interview and the essay marks will carry 30% of the weightage. This panel will assess the candidates on various parameters including the suitability of the candidate for a particular specialization. The panel will also give the opportunity to the applicants to add or delete course options.

In case, he / she is not selected for the course applied by him / her, then he / she will be considered for other courses and selected on merit.

SOIL 2 Years PGDM Admission Process:
Stage-1: The Candidates should submit an online application by paying the requisite application fee of Rs.2000 for SOIL PGDM Admission 2024
Stage-2: Candidates should apply and appear in at least one of the MBA entrance exams the scores of which are acceptable by SOIL like CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT among others.
Stage-3: The Shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of past academic performance, admission test scores (CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT), and relevant work experience. Candidates will be intimated regarding their shortlisting through email / SMS to their registered phone number with every detail. Candidate should check GEPI Shortilisting status at SOIL website
Stage-4: Participate in GEPI Round comprising SOIL Talent Appreciation Test, Leadership Exercise, Life Map Exercise, Personal Interview Round. Personal Interview will be conducted by a panel of Industry experts and SOIL faculty. Candidates will be finally selected on the basis of past academic scores, extra co-curricular achievements, relevant work experience, test scores, performance in the workshop and Personal Interview. Selected Candidates will be intimated regarding their selection over email with information regarding their admission and payment of admission fees.
SOIL PGDM program blends Design Thinking and Liberal Arts with Management in a unique experiential curriculum that will provide a rich portfolio of exposure and skills spanning traditional as well as emerging areas of business management.
SOIL unique curriculum integrates management disciplines with liberal Arts and Design thinking. Create an account by filling in the details. You will receive a unique account ID and password. Using it re-login into your account and complete the registration process.
Enter all the details; academic, personal, work experience related.
Enter the CAT/XAT/GMAT registration details and upload the score card (if applicable).
Upload scanned photograph.
Select the date for “Design Thinking Workshop” round while filling the application.
SOIL PGDM application fee is INR 2000. Pay the application fee online.
Submit the application form with application fee of Rs.2000/-
Print the application form and acknowledgment slip for future correspondence.
SOIL PGDM Admission Eligibility Criteria include:
A candidate with bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution with 50% marks is eligible

VIT Business School Vellore MBA Admission Eligibility Criteria are:
A minimum of 60% mark or fi rst class is required in any Under Graduate or Integrated degree from a recognised University or Institution.
