Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) was established in 1979 to form competent and committed leaders who are ethical, principle-centered and socially responsible with a global perspective and entrepreneurial spirit. LIBA is managed by Jesuits of the Loyola College Society well-known for their outstanding contribution to higher education.
Ranked 66, in NIRF Ranking 2024 among top 125 management institutes, LIBA offers its flagship 2 years full time residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to MBA.
LIBA has a consistent record of 100% placements since inception. In Placements 2024, LIBA has registered highest salary package of Rs 21 LPA and average salary at Rs.11 LPA. Students are placed in 14 distinct industries for Final Placements. More than 50 companies participated in Final Placements. The PGDM 2021-23 batch at LIBA received a total of 177 placement offers out of which 20% of them were PPOs. The average package at LIBA Chennai saw an increase of 7.1% to Rs. 11.6 LPA while the highest package offered was Rs. 20.5 LPA. A total of 59 companies including 21 new recruiters participated in LIBA Placements 2023. Some of the top companies are Asian Paints, JP Morgan Chase & Co, HDFC Bank, Deloitte, Cognizant, Crisil, EY, HSBC, Tata Motors, Schneider Electric among others.
