The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two-year, full-time program structured over four semesters along with a summer internship. The first semester builds a foundation in management fundamentals, while the second semester focuses on functional areas of management. The third and fourth semesters provide in-depth knowledge in specialized areas, including Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Information Systems. Given the complexities of the business world, all students are required to pursue a dual specialization to enhance their expertise. As an autonomous institution, RCSS designs its curriculum to develop professionally competent managers, equipped to tackle organizational challenges effectively.
Rajagiri College of Social Sciences MBA admission process for 2025 has the following steps:
Step 1: Apply & appear in an acceptable MBA entrance exam (such as CAT, GMAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, or Kerala KMAT).
Step 2: Apply separately for Rajagiri College of Social Sciences MBA admission, meeting the ‘Eligibility Criteria.’
Step 3: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the parameters mentioned in the ‘Shortlisting Criteria.’
Step 4: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and Skills Test (ST)/Business Awareness Test (BAT) round.
Step 5: Final selection of the candidates will be based on the following parameters: MBA entrance exam score, GD-PI-ST/BAT score, work experience, and prior academic performance. Post selection, final offers will be rolled out.
Note: GD-PI-ST is conducted in two phases. Phase 1 considers CAT-2024 and MAT (Dec 2024, Feb 2025) scores. Phase 2 considers CMAT (Jan 2025), KMAT (Kerala) 2025, MAT (Dec 2024, Feb 2025), and XAT 2025 scores.
Candidates can attend GD-PI-ST/Business Awareness Test in either phase but only once per admission year.

Rajagiri College of Social Sciences eligibility criteria for admissions are as follows:
- A pass in any bachelor’s degree Examination of Mahatma Gandhi University or an equivalent degree from any other recognized university.
- A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for all parts of the examination.
- Alternatively, a master’s degree Examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- SC/ST candidates require only a pass in any bachelor’s degree Examination.

After clearing the shortlist, candidates will undergo the GD-PI-ST/BAT.
