XLRI Jamshedpur, one of the top B-schools in India, has made many significant changes in its admission process for PGDM 2023-25 batch. XLRI is planning to increase the number of seats for its PGDM (BM) program for next year and has revised the XAT 2023 exam timing.

On September 12, Financial Times (FT) released its Global Masters in Management (MIM) Rankings 2022. FT MIM Ranking 2022 has ranked seven B-schools from India. IIM Bangalore MBA is the top ranked program in India, followed by SPJIMR Mumbai and IIM Lucknow.

IIM Admission Policy is a major annual document released by each IIM which decides the fate of 200,000 MBA aspirants. Each year, top 3 IIMs - IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta -- used to release their admission policy immediately after the start of CAT registration in August. However, this year, none of them have released their admission policy, even as CAT 2022 registration began on August 3. XLRI - Xavier School of Management, one of India’s premier B-Schools, has announced change in leadership. XLRI has appointed Fr. Sebastian George, S.J., as the new Director of the institute and Prof Sanjay Patro as the Dean Academics at XLRI Jamshedpur. Both the functionaries have taken over the responsibilities of XLRI from August 26, 2022.

September 1, 2022 marks the end of an era in All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). On this date, Prof Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE stepped down from his position as he attained the age of 65. However, appreciating the transformation that he had brought at AICTE, the Government immediately appointed him as the Chairman of the newly formed National Educational Technology Forum (NETF) with same remuneration, perks and privileges as are applicable to the Chairman of AICTE.

IIM Indore has inaugurated the 13^th Batch of 5 Years Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) 2023-28 with 156 students including 49 Girl students on August 22, 2023 at its campus.
