Offering a relaxation of 10 percentile in shortlisting to achievers in admission 2018-20 batch, IFMR Chennai has reduced the cut offs to 70 percentile in CAT/XAT exams, from earlier 80 percentile which is still applicable to non-achievers.
Not only this, with a view to provide opportunity to MBA aspirants to study at its new campus at Sri City near Chennai, IFMR the leading B school in South India has extended the last date to apply for MBA admission 2018 till January 15 for early decision round and February 5 for General round.

IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore have announced their shortlists of candidates for the PI round after CAT 2017 results were out yesterday on January 8, 2018. Hundreds of 99 and above percentilers have not found place in the shortlist of candidates in either of the top two IIMs

CAT 2017 result declared on Monday, January 8, 2018 brought proud moment in the history of IIMs CAT exam as the list of CAT 2017 toppers with 100 percentile this year includes more small town candidates, more females and non-engineers as against last year CAT exam toppers.

One of the key trends in CAT 2017 result is that while the number of candidates scoring 100 percentile in CAT 2017 is same as was last year but the list of toppers is distinct in many ways including the profile of the 100 percentilers.

Post CAT 2017 result declaration on January 8, CAT 2017 cut offs in top B-schools including IIMs and other top MBA colleges for admission to 2018-20 batch may go up or down depending upon the admission policy announced by the respective IIM or other top MBA college. The IIMs have already announced their minimum required sectional and overall CAT cut offs for first stage shortlist apart from other key academic and other parameters they would consider in the shortlisting process.

IIM Lucknow has released the CAT result on January 8, 2018 in the morning on its official CAT website iimcat.ac.in but has refrained from sending the CAT result and CAT score on the registered mobile number of the candidates who appeared in CAT exam on November 26 in slot-1 and slot-2.

CAT 2017 result has been declared by IIM Lucknow on January 8, 2018 at 10AM. CAT 2017 score card is available for download and candidates should download their CAT score card before the CAT 2017 official website gets overflowed and gets technical glitches. However, till now CAT 2017 percentile score has not been sent on the candidates registered mobile phone numbers, although more than one hour has lapsed since CAT 2017 result declaration.
