MHRD-NIRF Ranking 2017 released: IIM Ahmedabad gets back 1st rank from IIM Bangalore; 4 among top 10 slide down

IIM Ahmedabad has got back its 1st rank this year in NIRF Ranking 2017 released by MHRD, Government of India for management institutes in India. In the last year NIRF Ranking, IIM Bangalore was ranked at 1st position. 4 management institutes which were among top 10 in last year NIRF Ranking have slided down to lower positions.
Out of total 100 management institutes, MHRD has awarded Ranking positions to 50 management institutes only. Other 50 have been placed in the ranking bands of 51-75 and 76-100 in alphabetical order without assigning the ranking position.

MDI Gurgaon final Placement 2017: Rs.55 LPA international packages break past records; 343 students placed by 143 recruiters

MDI Gurugram (Gurgaon), one of the premier B-schools in India has concluded its placement 2017 with high average packages including international salary packages of Rs.55 lakhs per annum. More recruiters than last year participated in Placement 2017 at MDI Gurgaon.

Sharing the placement report for the batch 2015-2017, Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon has informed that a total of 343 students participated in the placement process, with 238 students from the flagship PGPM course, 60 students from the PGP-HRM course and 45 from the PGP-IM course.

IIM Lucknow hikes 15% fee for PGP 2017-19 batch; seeks parity with IIM-Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta

After the substantial fee increase finalized by IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore, IIM Lucknow has also decided to increase the fee for PGP 2017-19 but still remains much behind the top 3 IIMs- namely IIM-A, IIM-B and IIM-C.
After giving relief in 2013 by reducing its fee, IIM Lucknow proposes to hike its fee for flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management 2017-19 batch by 15%. The proposed fee hike, according to the IIM Lucknow director, Prof Ajit Prasad is because We want to be at par with the three league IIMs at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Kolkata.
