IIM Caclutta will award higher weightage to academics from 20 to 30 percent while reducing it for CAT 2015 from 77 to 67 in its shortlisting process for PI round in admission to PGP 2016-18 batch. Announcing the admission policy for PGP-2016-18 batch, IIM Calcutta will focus more on academic profile prior to graduation only. However, no weightage to academic diversity or high percentage in graduation marks will be awarded in the shortlisting process by IIM Calcutta.

The additional 10 minutes to attempt CAT 2015 exam without any addition of questions may prove to be a bonanza, if used judiciously. Despite the division of CAT 2015 into 3 sections instead of earlier 2 and increase of time limit from 170 to 180 minutes (full 3 hours), the number of questions remains the same 100. It is now upto the CAT 2015 aspirants how they utilize the additional time of 10 minutes to score more.

In a swift and quick move AIMA enabled the MAT 2015 September exam Admit Cards on Aug 28 on its site, a day before the scheduled date of issuing the MAT 2015 Admit cards. The admit cards were enabled even for the candidates who registered late after August 22 and till August 24.

Official guide for NMAT by GMAC, the entrance exam for admission to MBA in NMIMS and 11 other B-schools and universities has been launched by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), owner and administrator of NMAT by GMAC exam on August 28, 2015. The book is titled NMAT by GMAC Review 2015.

A day prior to the scheduled date of issuing the MAT 2015 Admit Card on Aug 29, AIMA has enabled the MAT 2015 September exam Admit card in the afternoon today on August 28, 2015. The admit card is available for download at the website now. The link did not open till early morning today but immediately after enabling the Admit card for MAT 2015 September exam the link started working and got opened on August 28, 2015.
The Admit card will allow the candidates to appear in AIMAs Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2015 on September 6 in paper based test or on Sep 12 in CBT exam.

Sticking to its process of issuing the MAT 2015 Admit card 7 days prior to the test, AIMA the MAT 2015 convening authority will enable the September MAT 2015 admit card on August 29, 2015. Admit card is the mandatory document to be carried by the MAT 2015 takers to the test venue on September 6 or 12 depending upon their choice of taking MAT 2015 in paper pen or computer based format.

IIM Visakhapatnam completes its admission process on August 27, 2015 after releasing the admission offers, acceptance to which is supposed to be submitted by August 31 on the B-school website. The acceptance fee for the course is also to be submitted by the said date for earlier admission offers. Overwhelming acceptances from PGP 2015-17 aspirants in response to the admission offers issued on August 24, 2015 have been received at IIM Visakhapatnam website. In case, a few of the candidates do not join the programme, next list of admission offers will be released, if required.

However IIMs need minimum 15 years of education till graduation defying the CAT 2015 eligibility criteria of minimum 14 years of study till graduation.
