Not only MAHCET 2015 scores but also MAT Feb 2015 scores will be accepted for admission in best B schools of Maharashtra. It has been clarified by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra as well as the individual B school that the scores of MAT Feb 2015 will also be considered along with other exam scores for MBA/PGDM/MMS admission 2015 in Maharashtra B schools.

Except for JBIMS, Mumbai which has acquired the status of an autonomous institution, other B schools will accept MAT Feb 2015 scores alongwith MAHCET 2015 scores.

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra has announced the refund of registration fee to 1487 candidates out of 60363 applicants registered for MAH CET 2015 for admission to MBA/MMS programme 2015-17.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has announced the launch and opening of admission to the Executive Programme in Sales and Marketing (EPSM) in collaboration with Hughes Global Education India Ltd (HGEIL). Common Admission Test, more commonly known as CAT is the most sought after entrance examination to pursue MBA/PGDM in IIMs and other top rated MBA colleges in India. IIMs, FMS, MDI, NITIE, Management departments of IITs, JBIMS have made CAT a mandatory exam for admission to their management programmes for the batch 2016-18.

The low number of registrations increased the percentage of MAHCET 2015 test takers to 95 than earlier 85 to 90 who used to take MAHCET. Although the registered candidates for MAHCET 2015 were around 60000, the test takers were as high as 57000, a number that used to appear in earlier MAHCET exams despite higher registrations for those tests.

More MS; less OMS candidates taking MAHCET 2015

Curtains for MAHCET 2015 were drawn on March 15, 2015 after DTE conducting the exam for 2nd consecutive day. MAHCET 2015 for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes in 2015 began on Saturday March 14 and concluded on March 15, 2015.
