The entire batch has been placed on first day itself. Over a 100 companies registered for Summer Placements 2007 to select students from the batch size of 120 students.
This years highest domestic stipend at JBIMS was Rs. 100,000 and the average domestic stipend touched Rs. 47,000 (Rs 23,500 per month). Comparing this years summer placements trends, JBIMS said, There is whopping 67% rise over last years highest domestic stipend and the average domestic stipend also touched an all time high.
JBIMS to hold Annual Fest Prayaag 2007

IIM-B Vista 07 draws curtains
The fest came to a close with Harsha Bhogle hosting Bizarre. During the day, many events held their final rounds.
The flagship event Numero Uno - Hunt for the next CEO came to a thrilling end after three grueling and testing days of competitions. The final was a test of presence of mind of the 5 students as they were grilled on various issues by a panel of judges. They were evaluated based on their answers by both the panel and the audience. The final winner was Eva Gasprowicz, an international participant at IIM-B from Poland.

Dena Bank funds Social Entrepreneurs at XLRI
during the Social Entrepreneurship Fair recently held at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. The entry from XLRI was made in the community health category and addressed the need of a healthy India.
This business plan proposed the idea of distribution of packaged health food delivered to corporates in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, etc. Impressed by its innovativeness and feasibility the judges awarded the trio from XLRI the first prize, which included a cash award of Rs. 25000.
IIM-B Vista 07: ISB grads dominate paper competition Manifestations
The paper presentations across verticals six verticals: Finance, Marketing, Telecommunications, Strategy, Operations, Economics and Social Sciences. At the time of publishing this news, results across all verticals accept telecom was announced. CAT workshop @ IIM-B Vista 07: Hopefuls get advice from toppers
In what IIM-B folks call L-cluster, many CAT hopefuls (or Junta as IIMs like to call them!) have gathered here to listen from the horses mouth people who have got the maximum 100 percentiles in CAT 2006, and made it to IIMs. MBAUniverse.com, the media sponsor of IIM-B Vista 07, sat through the CAT Workshop and later spoke to these 100 percentilers.
Udayan Sarkar and Adithya MR, both 100 percentilers who are pursuing their MBA at IIM-B, started off by saying that there is no one formula for cracking CAT. Candidates should assess their strengths and weaknesses and have a go.
