Yes. Candidates with valid scores in CAT (60+ percentile), XAT (60+ percentile), NMAT by GMAC (150+) or GMAT (500+) can apply to IBS through the same IBSAT 2026 application form without appearing for IBSAT. However, they must still pay the Rs 1,800 application fee and email a scanned copy of their scorecard to [email protected].

To fill the IBSAT 2026 application form, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a UGC-recognised university, have completed 15 years of formal education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4), and must have studied in English medium at graduation level (or submit TOEFL/NELT/IELTS scores). Final-year graduation candidates are eligible.

The IBSAT 2026 application fee is Rs 1,800 for all categories — there is no fee concession for SC, ST, OBC, EWS or PwD candidates. Payment is online only via credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI. The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

IBSAT 2026 application form has been released by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) on July 1, 2026. The last date to submit the IBSAT 2026 application form is tentatively December 2026. Candidates are advised to apply well before the deadline to avoid last-minute portal congestion.

The IBS selection process for IBSAT 2026 candidates is scheduled for February–March 2027 and comprises a Micro Presentation and a Personal Interview. In the Micro Presentation, candidates get 1 minute to prepare and 3 minutes to speak on a randomly selected topic from a pool of 1–100. Final selection is based on past academic record and performance in the Micro Presentation and PI rounds.

IBSAT 2026 scores are accepted by 9 ICFAI Business School campuses: IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bangalore, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Pune, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Kolkata, IBS Dehradun and IBS Jaipur. IBS Hyderabad, Bangalore, Dehradun and Jaipur offer the 2-year MBA programme; the other five campuses offer the equivalent PGPM (Post Graduate Programme in Management) programme.

The IBSAT 2026 exam pattern consists of 140 multiple-choice questions across 4 sections: Verbal Ability (50), Reading Comprehension (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30) and Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation (30). Exam duration to be completed in 2 hours (120 minutes). Each correct answer carries +1 mark; there is no negative marking for wrong or unattempted questions. Total marks are 140.

The exam is delivered in remote-proctored online mode, allowing candidates to take it from home on their own laptop/desktop. Official confirmation of dates is expected with the IBSAT 2026 notification on ibsindia.org around July 1, 2026.
