The Communication Ability section assesses English proficiency across vocabulary, functional grammar, and business terminology. It includes 15 questions on vocabulary, 20 on grammar, 15 on business/computer terms, and 20 on reading comprehension. Candidates are tested on their ability to understand written texts and day-to-day business communication.

You must focus on Arithmetical Ability, Algebraical/Geometrical Ability, and Statistical Ability for 55 total questions. Priority should be given to Arithmetic (35 questions) covering profit/loss, percentages, and time-work. The remaining 20 questions cover trigonometry, matrices, and basic statistics like mean, median, and probability.

Analytical Ability focuses on Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving through logical reasoning and data analysis. It includes 20 questions on Data Sufficiency and 55 questions on sequences, series, coding-decoding, and interpreting graphs.

The AP ICET 2026 syllabus comprises three sections totaling 200 marks with no negative marking. Analytical Ability carries 75 marks, Communication Ability carries 70 marks, and Mathematical Ability carries 55 marks.

The IPMAT 2026 exam features 90 questions divided into three sections to be completed in 120 minutes. The test includes Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer), and Verbal Ability. Each correct answer earns +4 marks, while incorrect multiple-choice answers result in a -1 mark penalty.

Applicants need scanned copies of Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, a photograph, and their signature. Those applying under reserved categories must also provide the latest valid SC, ST, or NC-OBC certificates. Ensuring these documents are clear and in the specified digital format is crucial to avoid application rejection.

General, NC-OBC, and EWS candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹4,130. For candidates in the SC, ST, and PwD categories, the fee is reduced to ₹2,065. International applicants have a separate fee of ₹8,850, and all payments must be made online via credit/debit cards or net banking.

Candidates must be born on or after August 01, 2006, to meet the age criteria. For SC/ST/PwD categories, the limit is extended to August 01, 2001. Additionally, applicants must have passed their Standard XII/HSC in 2024 or 2025, or be appearing for the exam in 2026.

The IPMAT 2026 registration opened on February 2, 2026, and closes on March 17, 2026. IIM Indore is scheduled to conduct the entrance examination on May 4, 2026. Prospective candidates must complete the online application process on the official website, iimidr.ac.in, before the March deadline.
