NMAT exam takes place either at a GMAC-authorised test centre in one of 54 Indian cities, or online from your home in Online Proctored at Home mode. You choose the mode while booking your slot, and it cannot be changed later except by booking a retake. The home mode needs a webcam, microphone, stable broadband and a quiet private room.

Your NMAT exam location is the test centre you choose while booking your exam slot on the NMAT by GMAC candidate dashboard. The exact centre address is printed on your NMAT admit card after slot booking. Metros such as Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru typically have more than one centre, so you can choose the closest one, subject to availability.

NMAT exam is conducted by GMAC at authorised test centres in 54 cities across 23 states and union territories of India, including all major metros such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Candidates who prefer not to travel can take NMAT 2026 in Online Proctored at Home mode instead.

The MAH MBA CET question paper pattern has 200 multiple-choice questions in four sections: Logical Reasoning (75), Abstract Reasoning (25), Quantitative Aptitude (50), and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (50). The paper lasts 150 minutes, and there is no negative marking.
