To fill the IBSAT 2026 application form, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a UGC-recognised university, have completed 15 years of formal education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4), and must have studied in English medium at graduation level (or submit TOEFL/NELT/IELTS scores). Final selection is based on past academic record and performance in the Micro Presentation + PI rounds.

IBS Hyderabad, Bangalore, Dehradun and Jaipur offer the 2-year MBA programme; the other five campuses offer the equivalent PGPM (Post Graduate Programme in Management) programme.

The IBSAT 2026 exam pattern consists of 140 multiple-choice questions across 4 sections: Verbal Ability (50), Reading Comprehension (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30) and Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation (30). Exam duration to be completed in 2 hours (120 minutes). Each correct answer carries +1 mark; there is no negative marking for wrong or unattempted questions. Total marks are 140.
