CAT 2026 Slot 2 reporting time is expected to be 11:00 AM. Candidates must report at the exam centre by 11:00 AM to allow sufficient time for biometric verification and other entry formalities before the gate closes.

CAT 2026 Slot 2 exam timings are expected to be 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. The exam duration is 120 minutes. Candidates allotted Slot 2 must complete all entry formalities and be seated before the exam begins at 12:30 PM.

CAT 2026 Slot 1 gate closing time is expected to be 8:15 AM. Candidates arriving after the gate closing time will not be permitted to enter the exam centre under any circumstances.

CAT 2026 Slot 1 reporting time is expected to be 7:00 AM. Candidates must report at the exam centre by 7:00 AM to complete registration, biometric verification, and other entry formalities before the gate closes.

CAT 2026 Slot 1 exam timings are expected to be 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The exam duration is 120 minutes. Candidates allotted Slot 1 must complete their biometric verification and be seated before the exam begins at 8:30 AM.

Only full-time paid employment completed after graduation should be entered. Do not enter internships, articleships, part-time roles, project-based work, or pre-graduation experience. IIMs do not count these as work experience during MBA admission process. Remember, entering ineligible experience could create discrepancies during the IIM interview process.

Once the CAT 2026 application fee is paid, the following fields are permanently locked and cannot be changed: Name, Date of Birth, academic marks and percentage, category, and work experience details. The correction window only allows changes to photograph, signature, and test city preferences. Fill all details with extreme care before making payment.

For the CAT 2026 application form, the photograph must be a recent passport size photo not more than 6 months old, in specified dimensions, white background, maximum file size of 1 MB, in JPEG or JPG format only. The signature must be uploaded in JPEG or JPG format with a maximum file size of 80 KB. Use a scanner — do not use a mobile phone camera for either document.

CAT Application Form Fees 2026 is Rs 2,700 for General, EWS, and NC-OBC category candidates, and Rs 1,350 for SC, ST, and PwD category candidates.
