These nourish the basic concepts that reinforce the process of creating successful managers.
At IBA, students are treated as colleagues who work in teams as ‘Task Forces’. This gives them a first-hand experience to organise guest lectures, seminars, even identify and screen faculty, coordinate directly with visiting faculty, etc. The last three trimesters are devoted to building entrepreneurial abilities in the students because a successful manager is perceived as a wealth creator for the organisation. The chosen specialisation subjects are learnt exhaustively in these three trimesters.
The last lap at IBA is devoted to placement exercise. Preparing the students for this begins much earlier through a process of communication, mock interview sessions, GDs, etc. Living through this programme is intense and gruelling. Application for MBA Admission 2025 at IBA Bangalore should be filled up and submitted online at the institute’s website. Once the application is received by the Admission Department of IBA Bangalore, you will receive a confirmation call and an email from the admissions department regarding the initial round of selection process i.e. submission of the SOP (Statement of Purpose). IBA Bangalore eligibility criteria details for PGDM admission 2025 are as below:
- Eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline, with at least 50% marks or equivalent.
- For SC/ST/OBC & other reserved category Candidates the minimum required percentage of marks is 45% in graduation.
- Candidates in Final Year of graduation are also eligible.
- No Maximum Age is prescribed in IBA Bangalore Eligibility criteria
- The candidate should be registered and should appear in one of the following exams to be considered for admission - CAT 2024/XAT 2025/CMAT 2025/MAT (Dec 2024/Feb 2025)/ NMAT 2024/ATMA (2024/2025)/GMAT and must score positive to become eligible for admission.
IBA Bangalore Final selection is based on entrance exam score, Statement of Purpose (SoP), Academic Performance, Work Experience, performance in Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI)1 and PI 2. Final results will be declared within 3 to 4 working days from the day of PI 2. Selected students are required to pay the prescribed fee within the specified date as mentioned in admission letter after the selection results failing which the seat will be offered to next deserving candidate.
