MAH MBA CET 2026 eligibility criteria to register and apply for the exam are:

• Applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Graduates with 50% marks in any discipline can apply the exam.
• Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission are eligible to apply for the exam.
• 65 to 85 percent MBA seats are for Maharashtra State category candidates. There are 5 categories of candidates who are considered as Maharashtra State candidates.
• Apart from Mah. State category candidates, All India category candidates can seek admission in Maharashtra B-schools on the basis of other MBA entrance exams like CAT, CMAT also.

MAH MBA CET 2026 registration dates are not announced. MAH MBA CET 2026 registration process is expected to open from December, 2025 and will remain open till end of February, 2026. MAH CET Registration and application submission is the first step for MBA admission to 1st Year of 2 year full time Post Graduate Degree course in Management (MBA/MMS) in the Government, Govt. Aided, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State.

MAH CET Admit Card is a mandatory document to enter the exam center to take the test. MAH CET Admit Card download will begin in March third week. CET Cell will upload the admit card on official MAH MBA CET website cetcell.mahacet.org. Only registered candidates can download the MAH CET admit card.

• Login with your MAH CET 2026 application number
• Enter your Date of Birth in DD-MM-YY format.

Total number of candidates who registered for MAH CET 2025 was 157,281. However, only 129,131 candidates took the exam. Total number of candidates who registered for MAH CET 2024 was 130,927. Candidates must carry following documents to the examination centre:

1. Printed copy of Admit Card downloaded from CET Cell website.
2. One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at Centre during the Examination.
3. Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non- expired) – PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No). The name on the photo identification must match with the name as shown on the Admit Card.
4. If required, PwD certificate/UDID Card issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.

The Common Entrance Test (CET) cell, Maharashtra, has released the normalization method for MAH CET 2026 for MBA and MCA programs to ensure fairness in score calculation, as the exams are conducted in multiple shifts with varying difficulty levels. Check details below.

How is Normalization Done?
1. Exam Sessions: Candidates are randomly assigned to different shifts (sessions).

2. Raw Scores Calculation: Each candidate's score is recorded as the raw score for their session.

3. Percentile Score Calculation:

• The top scorer in each session receives a percentile of 100.
• Scores are converted to a percentile scale ranging from 100 to 0.
• The formula used: Percentile = (No. of candidates with equal or lesser score / Total candidates in session) × 100
• Percentile scores are calculated up to 7 decimal places to minimize ties.

4. Final CET Score Compilation: The percentile scores from all sessions are merged to create the final CET ranking.

What are the Implications for Students?

• Fairness: No candidate is penalized for being in a shift with a harder exam.
• No direct score comparison: Students should focus on percentile scores, not raw marks.
• Competitive Ranking: Even if two students have different raw scores in different sessions, their ranking is based on relative performance within their session.
