XIME Chennai shortlisting Criteria for GD PI Process is based on entrance exam score and profile. Key parameters to be used by XIME Chennai in shortlisting criteria include:
- XIME Chennai will shortlist the applicants based on their best available test scores in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/TANCET/ GMAT
- XIME Chennai will consider aggregate scores of MBA entrance exams

The PGDM at XIME Chennai is 2 years full time residential AICTE approved programme. The First Year of the course covers the foundational subjects which impart to the students a sound knowledge of the essential functional areas of business and management. In the second year, the emphasis shifts to elective courses, giving the students a choice to specialise in areas of their interest and acquire advanced knowledge and skills.

- Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
The candidate should have appeared in at least one of the eligible entrance exams - A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply

XIME Chennai Selection process to the PGDM programme is facilitated through a rigorous process which requires highly competitive entrance exam scores, performances in GD-PI and other criteria. Following steps are included in the XIME Selection Process:
Step 1: Must have appeared in one of the eligible entrance tests scores of which are accepted by XIME Chennai. Acceptable exam scores for admission 2025 are XAT 2025, CAT 2024, CMAT 2025, MAT - September 2024, December 2024, February 2025 & May 2025; GMAT - 2023, 2024 & 2025; TANCET 2025
Step 2: The candidate should apply to XIME Chennai online before the deadline. The application fee of Rs.2000/- should also be paid online.
Step 3: Candidates are short-listed for Group Discussion & Personal Interview (PI) round from among the eligible candidates who have a valid entrance exam score and have applied to the programme of XIME Chennai
Step 4: After the GD-PI round, admission offers are made by XIME to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in entrance exam, performance in GD-PI round, academics, Extra curricular achievements, Work Experience among others
