IIM Jammu EMBA (CA&M) curriculum provides the participants with a comprehensive learning of corporate affairs, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, management, and corporate social responsibility. The course structure of MBA Program entails every MBA student to compulsory complete 64.5 core course credits in the first year; 3 credits from the 8-10-week long Summer Internship Program with a company or an organization and 48 course credits through the choice of his/her electives in the second year. Additionally, students are permitted to Audit Courses (Maximum of 3 courses in the 2nd year) by paying the requisite additional fees; Courses of Independent Study (CIS)/Dissertation Projects (with a faculty) in lieu of elective courses. IIM Jammu also has Student Exchange Program (Merit Based) and National and International Live Projects.
Every student has to undergo a mandatory non-credit course on "Happiness" in the first year of the MBA program. Besides, every student needs to compulsorily complete a week-long Bharat Immersion Programme Internship as a partial requirement of the CSR course.
A student must take 48 credits from elective courses offered during the second year. A Student need to take 16 elective courses in the second year provided all elective courses carry 3 credit units. The requirements of number of electives can increase or decrease depending on the credit units of chosen electives. Applicants must be currently employed in a registered company and must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer at the time of application. The NOC should confirm that the employer supports the applicant's pursuit of an Executive MBA and is willing to accommodate any necessary schedule adjustments or commitments.
- An applicant will be required to appear in an Aptitude Test (50 Marks - 1 Hour) to be conducted by the University after successfully filling up the application form. Applicants appearing in any of the below-mentioned National Level Management Entrance Tests: XAT, CAT, GRE, GMAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA with a decent percentage/percentile score, valid for the present academic year will be given preference during the Selection process.
The final selection of the applicant will be based on his/her composite score prepared by Xavier Business School, which considers assessment of the applicant from different dimensions, which includes the following:
- Past Academic Scores [Class X, XII and Graduation] (Weightage: 20%)
- SXUK Aptitude Test (Weightage: 10%)
- National Level Management Entrance Test Score [XAT, CAT, GMAT, GRE, MAT, CMAT, ATMA] (Weightage: 10%)
- Personal Interview (Weightage: 30%)
Work Experience (Weightage: 30%)
