CAT 2017, the largest MBA entrance test will be conducted by IIM Lucknow in the month of November/December. The exam will be a computer based test of 3 hours duration and will be without any break in between. For the last 2 years CAT has been conducted on the same pattern and according to experts it is expected that IIM Lucknow may bring substantial changes in the exam.

The exam is expected to be held in the months of November/December 2017 in the similar format as that of past 2 years. Sharing the information, the sources have categorically stated that instead of assigning the responsibility of conducting CAT 2017 to any other IIM, it has been decided that the one of the top four IIMs, namely IIM Lucknow should carry on the process of convening CAT 2017.

Inspite of the fact that IIM Amritsar, IIM Nagpur, IIM Visakhapatnam either participated in Common Admission process (CAP) 2017 coordinated by IIM Rohtak, or conducted their own PI round, all the 3 of the 7 newest IIMs have announced their session commencement schedule 2017-18 with their fee structure as against IIM Bodahgaya, Jammu, Sambalpur and Sirmaur who are yet to finalise the date for their session commencement.
