Carrying a legacy of 58 years as part of Somaiya Vidyavihar that was esblished in 1959, K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR) Mumbai organized its 4th Global Supply Chain Conference on December 16, 2016. The theme selected for the event was SCM 2020 An Ocean of Opportunities. The conference was organised by the Operations Deptt. of SIMSR and co-ordinated by FORSE Operations Student Committee, SIMSR.

SPJIMR student Shekhar Kapoor scored 99.058 in XAT 2016 and 94.98 in CAT 2015 despite being a working professional before joining PGDM 2016-18 at SPJIMR, Mumbai despite all the odds and time crunch.
Sharing the success mantra for the benefit of XAT 2017 aspirants, Shekhar is of the view that the exam taker should manage the time well during preparation and while taking the exam. According to him the test taker should do calculation manually and orally instead of depending upon the calculators for Quant or DI calculations as it will save more time.

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2017 for admission to XLRI, SPJIMR, IMT, XIMB and other 150 top B-schools is to be held on January 8, 2017 in paper pen mode. Although XAT 2017 exam pattern remains the same but there are significant aspirant friendly changes announced by XLRI while releasing the XAT 2017 expected question paper.

CAT 2016 result expected to be declared in the second week of January 2017 is yet to get the exact date. While IIM Bangalore has not announced the date of CAT 2016 result declaration, candidates who appeared in the exam are still contemplating and guessing whether the CAT 2016 result would be declared in the beginning of 2nd week of January or it would be stretched to the weekend.

IIFT 2016 entrance exam Result for admission to full time MBA(IB) 2017-19 has been declared in the evening on December 23, 2016. IIFT has shortlisted 1973 candidates for final admission round and has posted the list on its site. Around 45000 aspirants appeared in IIFT 2016 entrance exam on Nov 27, 2016 vying for 360 seats in IIFT Delhi & Kolkata campuses.

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2017will be on thesimilar pattern like previous years. The entrance test is to follow the Pen-Paper format like every year.
