AICTE has not been able to release the CMAT 2017 exam admit card today on January 13 despite the earlier announcement. Now the CMAT 2017 Admit Card will be released a few days later by AICTE. Earlier AICTE announced You can PRINT your ADMIT CARD by going to website www.aicte-cmat.in from 13th January, 2017. Now the candidates will be able to view and download their CMAT 2017 admit card 3-4 days later.

An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad Rajesh Gopinathan has been appointed as the new CEO of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Gopinathan is presently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Vice President of Indias biggest IT Services Company TCS. Rajesh Gopinathan will take charge from the present CEO of TCS Mr Natarajan Chandrasekaran who is the Chairman designate of Tata Sons.
Rajesh did his Graduation in electrical and electronic engineering from REC Trichy in 1994 and then did his PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad.

International Management Institute (IMI) New Delhi has reopened the application process for admission to its PGDM 2017-19 batch from January 13 till January 20, 2017. IMI New Delhi will accept CAT 2016 and GMAT exam scores to shortlist the candidates for final selection round. There are 360 seats for the three 2 year full time PGDM programmes.

Admission policy at new IIMs for PGP 2017-19 is bringing new hope for admission to hundreds of CAT 2016 test takers who have scored between 80 to 90 percentile in CAT exam. New IIMs are now amending their admission policy for reasonably good percentilers in CAT 2016 and the candidates can expect to get into an IIM without appearing in GD-PI round.

The Common Admission Process (CAP) 2017 being conducted by IIM Rohtak is to begin shortly after each of the 9 participating IIMs announce the 1st stage shortlist. CAP 2017 process that is being adopted for selecting the students for PGP 2017-19 at each of the 9 IIMs involves 2 stages: Stage 1 applies to all eligible candidates who have appeared for CAT 2016 and have applied for admission to the said IIM at the time of CAT 2016 registration. Stage 2 applies to shortlisted candidates from Stage 1 and preparation of final merit list after CAP 2017.

New IIM Common Admission Process (CAP) 2017: IIM Rohtak to coordinate for 9 IIM Admissions, 12,000 IIM calls; Check CAT cut offs
IIM Rohtak will conduct the Common Admission Process (CAP) for admission into the 9 IIMs for the batch of 2017-19. Post announcement of CAT 2016 results, the shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Analysis (WA) for admission into IIM Rohtak, Ranchi, Raipur, Trichy, Kashipur, Udaipur, Amritsar, Bodh Gaya and Sambalpur. IIM Rohtak which also conducted the first CAP, will share the results with the other IIMs post evaluation. Last year, the CAP was conducted by IIM Kashipur.

CAT 2016 Topper Announced: 20 Male, Engineers score overall 100 percentile; no women in top list
IIM Bangalore released the result of CAT 2016 today, January 9, morning. There are 20 candidates who have scored overall 100 percentile in CAT 2016. They are all male and all engineers. This was shared by Prof. Rajendra K Bandi, Convener, CAT 2016. He added, However, in the sectionals, many non-engineers and female candidates have scored 100 percentile.
