MICA Ahmedabad hosted Start your own Startup, a launch-pad for students to showcase their project ideas in front of industry professionals and judges, and gain funding for the same. The student run Entrepreneurship Development Cell that organized the event aimed to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among students, and give them a starting point to kick start their business at an early stage. The mentors also provided feedback to the students to enable enhanced learning.

Post closure of CAT 2016 registration process on Sep 27, resulting in higher than in last 7 years registrations reaching to new high of 2.32 lakhs candidates, hectic activities to issue the CAT 2016 admit on time began but due to higher registration and 5 days extension in registration date, the admit card issuance date was also extended from October 18 to October 24.

The 6 days delay in release of CAT 2016 Admit card from October 18 to October 24 as the new date of release announced by IIM Bangalore, will not be extended any further.
