With no changes announced in the structure of CAT 2016, it is expected that aspirants will again see the 5 Reading Comprehension passages followed by 24 questions in CAT 2016. The press release shared by CAT 2016 exam convening IIM Bangalore has kept the exam structure on the same pattern as it was last year.

What happened last year

CAT 2016 Data Interpretation (DI) questions are going to play important role in improving your sectional and overall percentile. You can expect a set of minimum 4 questions on multiple charts. Questions containing multiple charts have been a regular feature at CAT and other MBA entrance examinations. A single set of questions may contain any combination of multiple charts like Table, pie chart, line chart, bar chart among others.

AIMA-MAT 2016 on September 4, in paper based form will need greater time management as all the sections have equal number of questions with equal weightage and are without any restriction of moving from one section to other. The 2 hours exam consists of 200 questions divided in 5 sections and all the sections are compulsory. You cannot afford leaving one or other section less attempted or unattempted as they carry equal weightage and you need to qualify in each one.

You may lose your, if you make a mistake in entering the details in registration form. CAT 2016 registration process does not allow you to edit certain personal details either before or after submitting the application, in case any mistake is made in filling up these details. If you have made a mistake in these details, you must register again with a new email ID, make payment of fee again and on the top of it there will be no refund to your earlier paid registration fee of Rs.1700/-

CAT 2016 registration is more aspirant friendly and can be completed in 3 steps. CAT 2016 registration will remain open for 46 days till September 22, 2016.
