CAT 2015 Exam Centre, keeping up the tradition of commitment has enabled the full length sample test on its site in the afternoon on October 29, 2015 although it was contemplated that the CAT 2015 sample test would be made live after 2 more days. The sample test enabled by the CAT centre 2015 is full of surprises reflecting number of changes in the structure and content of CAT 2015. Candidates should now proceed to take the test to understand the changes in the test pattern that they are going to face after 30 days on November 29, 2015.

Immediately after issue of CAT 2015 Admit Cards, both the candidates who received and not received their admit cards, began raising queries about the surprises and anomalies they noticed in the content of the document. MICA Ahmedabad has announced the completion of its summer placement process for the 2015-17 batch of flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management Communications (PGDMC). The entire process was completed within the summer placement week concluded on October 27, 2015.

The indicators are quite encouraging. A total of 55 companies including 20 new companies participated in the summer placements 2015-16. The average and median stipend saw an increase of 20% and 25% respectively, while the highest stipend was Rs. 80, 000 per month. The number of offers per company was 2.91.

IIM Raipur, one of the new IIMs that started functioning in 2010-11 has announced its admission policy with a vision to increase the number of non-engineers in its class rooms for flagship 7th PGP 2016-18 batch. The batch size is proposed to comprise around 140 students.

While the 1st stage short listing at IIM Raipur is based on CAT 2015 scores similar to other IIMs, higher weightage to candidates with non engineering profile will be awarded by IIM Raipur at the final stage of selection.
