The facility of 3 attempts to maximise the scores in NMAT by GMAC, if used judiciously can get you in MBA at NMIMS in 2016. Earlier known as NMAT, the ownership of the exam has been acquired by GMAC and hence it is now known as NMAT by GMAC.

Although no substantial structural and content change has been brought to NMAT by GMAC exam, the efforts have been made to make the test as more aspirant friendly. Apart from NMIMS, 11 other Universities and B-schools will use NMAT by GMAC for admission in academic year 2016-17.

Offering a great relief from technical glitches and last minute rush, AIMA has extended the last date of online registration for computer based MAT 2015 test to September 1, 2015. The computer based MAT 2015 is to be held from September 12, 2015 onwards. Less than a week remains to register and apply online for CBT MAT 2015 as the process will come to an end on Tuesday Sep 1, 2015.
However, no extension in last date of registration for paper Pen based MAT 2015 test to be held on September 6, 2015 has been announced.

The statement that usually is made by CAT takers is that Quant and Verbal were difficult but DILR was the most difficult and time consuming part. Number of candidates could solve hardly a few DILR questions in CAT 2014 in all the 4 sessions. Now, when not much remains the same in CAT 2015 except that it will be a computer based test and will remain the gateway to IIMs in 2016, the creation of new section comprising only DILR questions detached from their respective parent sections of Quant and Verbal as the 3rd section has turned higher focus on DILR preparation.

IIM Gaya in the state of Bihar has started its formal registration process for the maiden PGP 2015-17 batch today on August 24, 2015. Proposed to have an intake of 60 students after declaration of final result and issuing admission offers to the eligible students, IIM Gaya has not yet been sought after by the full intake capacity in the first batch.
