CMAT Sep 2015: AICTE forgets opening of registration; may cause delay in exam dates
Breaking the legacy of opening the registration process for September CMAT examination in the first 4-5 days of July every year, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has allowed the first 2 weeks of July 2015 pass by without any indication when they are going to announce the CMAT Sep 2015 exam. It appears that AICTE has forgot opening of CMAT Sep 2015 (the first CMAT 2016 test) which may cause delay in conduct of the exam. In fact CAT 2015 is proposed to be held in October 2015 and there will be MAT Sep 2015 also.

CAT 2015 Convener should anticipate high number of registrations; may cross 200000 mark
Prior to going green from paper pencil mode to CBT in 2009, Common Admission Test (CAT) used to have number of registrations to the tune of 2.75 to 3 lakhs candidates every year. It is an irony that despite more number of IIMs and more intake since 2009, there has been a fluctuating and declining trend in number of CAT registrations. The declining trend showed up some positives in CAT 2014 when number of registrations increased by 2000 candidates over CAT 2013.
