NMIMS Deemed to be University, Mumbai and Tel Aviv University (TAU) Israel have entered in to an MOU for academic collaboration at Tel Aviv, Israel in presence of Mr. Devendra Phadanavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra andMr. Girish Mahajan, Irrigation Minister, who were on their three-day visit to Israel to explore possibilities of collaboration in various fields including agriculture and crisis management, where it has an expertise, and to attract investments in the state.

Alumni of IIT Bombay and IIM Calcutta, Dr. Ranjan Banerjee has been appointed the new dean of S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) Mumbai. Addressing the faculty members Mr. Deepak Parekh, Chairman of the Governing Body of SPJIMR informed them of the appointment of the new Dean. Mr. Parekh was at the Andheri Campus to attend the 2015 graduation ceremony of the Institute.
