XLRI hosts Business Ethics Conference; discusses to leverage Ethics for Sustainable Corporate Advantage

With the aim to discuss some of the most pertinent questions related to Ethics as it is a much felt need by Corporate India and the Country at Large, to replace the existing ways of doing business and adopting sustained Ethical ways, Xavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur, in collaboration with XLRI Alumni (Mumbai Chapter) organized the 2nd Business Ethics Conference on April 17, 2015 at Mumbai. The theme of the conference was Leveraging Ethics for Sustainable Corporate Advantage.

CAT 2015 Convener IIM Ahmedabad to promote Make in India; introduces compulsory courses

In a bid to promote and contribute to the vision Make in India the CAT 2015 convener Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has changed its PGDM 2015-17 curriculum by introducing compulsory courses in place of electives. Review Committee at IIM Ahmedabad arrived at the decision after consulting all stake holders which included detailed interviews with students, alumni, corporates, faculty at IIMA and other B schools.

MAH CET 2015 Result: DTE unable to present corrective measures; counsel absent on hearing day April 20

In an apparent bid to linger on the process of taking the corrective measures on faulty application of equi percentile methodology in MAH CET 2015 result, the counsel representing Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra chose to remain absent during the hearing on PIL/39/2015 before Bombay High Court on April 20, 2015. The reason of DTE counsel remaining absent on the crucial day was not discolosed by DTE Maharashtra.

MAH CET 2015 Result: High Court to hear PIL today on April 20; DTE expected to soften stand

Petitioners against the equi percentile calculation process of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra in MAH CET 2015 result got a shot in the arm when Bombay High Court allowed stay on their PIL on April 15, 2015 and restricted DTE from taking any action on admission process. Realizing the need of quick disposal of the PIL, Honble High Court has fixed April 20, 2015 as the next date of hearing.
