Gearing up to announce the shortlist immediately after declaration of XAT 2015 result even before January 25, 2015, XLRI is all set to announce the shortlist of candidates for an intake of 510 candidates to various PGDM programmes 2015-17 on January 25. In reply to a query on expected date of declaration of shortlist of candidates for GDPI round 2015, Prof Munish Thakur, Admission Chairperson XLRI has shared that the expected date is around 23rd-25th Jan 2015.

IIM Ahmedabad, Calcutta, Bangalore and other IIMs have either added Written Ability Test as one of the key components of final admission round or have substituted Group Discussion by Written Ability Test.

Unlike the older IIMs who have taken into consideration the academic profile and other factors apart from CAT 2014 scores to shortlist the candidates for PI round 2015, the 6 new IIMs propose to announce the shortlist based purely on CAT 2014 performance overall as well as sectionwise

Group Discussion(GD) is one of the key components in final admission round 2015 in top rated B schools. Although a few of the IIMs are not going to conduct Group Discussion at the final stage of admission 2015, a number of highly ranked B schools like FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, IIM Lucknow and many others will be going through the process of Group discussion before offering admission for MA/PGDM batch 2015-17.

IIM Bangalore has declared the shortlist of Candidates selected for the second phase of admission for its flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) 2015-17 batch, a two-year, full-time, residential MBA programme on January 14, 2015. IIMB is an autonomous Central Educational Institution of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
