BIMTECH Greater Noida hosted the 9th International Conference on Management Cases (ICMC 2014), a premiere conference on case studies in India on 4th and 5th of December 2014. David Blake Willis, and Michael Manning inaugurated the session that witnessed the 60 participants including, faculty, students, research scholars.

Fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship as its long-term goal, the recent tie-ups with corporates by IIM Ahmedabad have brought in a funding of Rs. 20 crores which will be spent towards cutting-edge research in financial markets, infrastructure and entrepreneurship. Announcing the achievement on Dec 10, IIMA has shared that this is the second tranche of fund-raising efforts from IIMA in 2014. The institute had announced in June, earlier this year, of commitments of 16 crore INR from Government and corporate bodies.

Final checks on CAT 2014 results are underway and the results are expected to be announced in the middle of 3rd week of December 2014 even before Dec 20. CAT Centre 2014 had promised in its press release while inviting applications for CAT 2014 that CAT 2014 results would be declared in the third week of December 2014. High scores in CMAT 2015 will enable the test takers to seek admission opportunities in good B schools across the country even in the B schools that accept state level exams like MAH-CET and other state exams.

Good news from IIMs for the CAT 2014 takers is that the CAT 2014 results are going to be announced shortly preferably by Dec 20 or 21 before the 3 week in Dec 2014 ends. SNAP 2014 is only 10 days away. SNAP 2014, the traditional paper-pen mode exam is the gateway to various management programmes 2015-17 batch in 13 Symbiosis B schools affiliated to Symbiosis International University. The Multiple Choice Questions based examination of two hours duration from 2PM to 4PM will be held on Dec 21, 2014.

Registration and application process for XAT 2015 which was extended upto Dec 8, 2014 will finally close today at End of the Day. It is but obvious that XLRI, the XAT 2015 B school is not going to extend it further. The registration process for XAT 2015 was supposed to close on Nov 30, 2014 but on appeal of thousands of XAT aspirants who couldnt register and make payment of the registration/application fee XLRI extended the last date of registration till Dec 8, 2014.
