All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has announced the schedule for Second National Level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2015 to select suitable students for admission in management programmes for academic year 2015-16. The on-line Registration process for second CMAT 2015 has opened on November 6, 2014 and will continue till January 5, 2015, just a day after XAT 2015 is over on January 4, 2015.

CAT Centre 2014 has enabled the Test Duration and Exam Pattern on November 6, 2014. The icon despite having been activated with the caption new had not been functioning. However in the evening on November 6, 2014 it could be opened.

Apart from issuing various guidelines and helping tools to take CAT 2014, IIMs have taken care to share good volume of information regarding conduct of CAT 2014 with the advisory also on dos and donts in the testing room while going through the test.

XLRI, the XAT conducting body of XAT 2015 has extended the last date for XAT 2015 registration and application process from November 22 to November 30, 2014. XAT is the gateway for MBA/PGDM programmes in top rated B schools like XLRI, SPJIMR, XIMB, IMT, XISS and many others. XAT 2015 will be conducted by XLRI on behalf of XAMI on January 4, 2015, the first Sunday of New year of 2015. XLRI has been conducting Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) for the last 60 years at All India level.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will conduct its National Level Admission Test for MBA (IB) batch 2015-17 courses at its Delhi and Kolkata campuses. The test is proposed to be conducted on Sunday, November 23, 2014 in 20 major cities across the country in single session in paper pen mode.

Registration and application process for admission to IIFT MBA batch 2015-17 has already closed on Sep 3, 2014.

Experts on CAT 2014 suggest not to begin anything new which is difficult to understand at the juncture when 10 days are left to appear in CAT 2014 exam. Prof S K Agarwal, expert of Verbal Ability is of the view that candidates should further strengthen their strong areas and work upon more on those topics which they are already halfway through.

CMAT 2014 result has less number of candidates in the merit list as compared to CMAT Feb 2014 merit list which had almost twice the number of candidates. CMAT is conducted twice a year for the same admission year. Accordingly CMAT Sep 2014 was the first CMAT for the admission to PGDM batch 2015-17. Second CMAT for admission 2015 will be conducted sometime in the month of February 2015. In case a candidate is not able to score well in the first CMAT he/she can register and appear in second CMAT to improve the scores further to seek admission in better B school.

More questions on more topics and variety of questions with different accent would appear in CAT 2014. CAT Centre 2014 has issued an important notification after publication of CAT 2014 full length practice test The objective of Mock CAT 2014 is to give the candidate an experience of the testing console. Question content and difficulty level is for demonstration purposes and will be different for the actual exam.
