Better late than never, at last CAT 2014 registration site, reopened on September 29, 2014 has allowed 10+2+2 graduates to register for CAT 2014. In the wake of MBAUniverse.com queries to the CAT 2014 convener and published articles, IIMs have honoured the submission and have done away with the implied Age Bar in registration for CAT 2014.

Beginning from Registration process till the final round of admission process, XAT 2015 aspirants will need to keep their academic details updated. Academics play an important role in XAT 2015 registration process, getting shortlisted for GDPI after XAT 2015 written test and finally in getting admission offer from XLRI or other top rated B school associated to XAT 2015.

T. A. CAT 2014 registration process which was suspended from the evening on Sep 28 resumed functioning smoothly at 11 AM on Sep 29, 2014 and all the panic and apprehension among the aspirants stood nowhere. IIMs have not announced any extension in registration date and so far the last date of CAT registration remains September 30, 2014.

The test of reasoning was easier and with no surprise element on the fourth and the final day of CMAT Sep 2014. Section of General awareness was more focused on General science, conventional and international GK. CMAT on September 28 and September 29, 2014 has been rated moderate with a mix of questions. The exam could be rated as closer to CMAT on the first day i.e. Sep 25, 2014. Students should however expect higher merit position with higher scores both sectional as well as overall. There was no surprise element on the third day of CMAT Sep 2014. CMAT on September 27, 2014 was more similar to CMAT on Sep 25, 2014 (first day). Students attempting 65-70 can accept a good position in merit. CMAT on the third day remained moderate with GK more focused on Indian Economy and polity. 3 RC passages were also moderate and short. Although each of the 4 sections had a few difficult and tricky questions the test was doable overall and candidates could attempt very well in a range of 60-70 questions.
