The UAE government has recognized the importance of developing a strong management education system. As a result there has been a significant rise in the number of private universities offering management education in the UAE.

Looking back at the recent history of Indian Management Education, last two decades have seen the rise of IIMs and private B-schools like SPJIMR, MDI, NMIMS, TAPMI and many others. With few exceptions, Public University MBA institutions, who pioneered the management education in India in 1950s, have been left behind. Two day Finomenal 2014, the annual finance conclave was declared open at T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal on 30th August 2014. The chief guest for the event Mr. Nayan Mehta, CFO - Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), inaugurated the newly made TAPMI Finance Lab on the occasion. The finance lab, made in association with Bloomberg India is a first of its kind in India and is expected to make the learning process at the institute to reach newer heights.

With so many changes announced in CAT 2014 new pattern, candidates are yet to know about the exact pattern of CAT 2014. New pattern has not yet disclosed either the different question types or the proposed change in their formation and presentation. On the top of it CAT 2014 new pattern practice test has not yet been made available by the IIMs on CAT 2014 site.
