New pattern has not yet disclosed either the different question types or the proposed change in their formation and presentation. CAT 2014 new pattern of exam will have number of firsts and different type of presentation of questions in Verbal Ability section. CAT 2014 new pattern of test will have 100 as compared to 60 questions in 2 sections in past CAT years. 20 questions have been added in each of the two sections of test. Duration of the CAT 2014 has also been increased to 170 minutes from 140 minutes earlier. Now CAT 2014 new pattern will have a total of 50 questions for Verbal Ability section and another 50 for Quant section.

XAT 2015, gateway to admission in various PGDM courses for the session 2015 16 at XLRI and other important 121 B schools, is scheduled to be held in a single session on Sunday January 4, 2015. Sharing the principal features with MBAUniverse.com Prof Munish Thakur, Convener XAT 2015 and Admission Chairperson XLRI said XAT-2015 would be similar to XAT-2014 and will not have any significant changes. The examination pattern will remain the same as earlier.

Common Admission Test (CAT) 2014, gateway to PGDM programmes to premier B schools like IIMs, SPJIMR, MDI, IMT is scheduled to be held on November 16 and November 22, 2014 across 99 test cities in India. CAT 2014 aspirants apart from registering and appearing in CAT 2014 have to apply to these B schools to seek admission in session 2015-16.
