UPES MET is the Management Entrance Test for admission to 10 specialized core sector programs offered by the College of Management & Economics Studies (CoMES) atUniversity of Petroleum and energy Studies -UPES, Dehradun. It will be conducted on February 22, 2014 at 24 locations across the country.

The last date to apply for UPES MET 2014 is February 7, 2014. The UPES MET results will be declared on or before March 10, 2014. Admissions to minimum 50 percent of seats in UPES MBA programs are done through UPESMET.

The admission process for MBA programs offered by Mumbai, Pune and other Universities of Maharashtra, and their affiliated B-schools has undergone a major change this year. Unlike last year, where CMAT scores were used for admissions, this year, Directorate of Technical Education(DTE) Maharashtra, the body that regulates technical education decided to conduct its own Online Maharashtra Common Entrance test (MAH MBA/MMS CET 2014). In an important development, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) looks set to be appointed as the next testing agency for the annual Common Admission Test CAT 2014.
