Anustup scored 96.3 percentile in CAT 2010 and 96.7 percentile in XAT 2011. He got final admission call from XLRI Jamshedpur and IMT Ghaziabad. He has decided to join XLRI Jamshedpur for the HRM program. Anustup has done his graduation in Electrical Engineering from NIT Bhopal.

Q: How many GD&PI did you take part in?

While the top league B schools have announced their final list of selected candidates some time back, the other leading B-schools are still in the process of inviting applications and some are busy in conducting GD-PI rounds.

One of the major dilemmas that are faced by management education aspirants is related to selecting the right stream of management education. The question that occurs first and foremost is: Should I do MBA or a PGDM?

It is a myth in our country that MBA is much better than PGDM, just because PGDM is a Diploma and MBA is a Degree. But which one more accepted by the industry?

If you have scored a whopping 100 percentile in CAT exam, and have performed decently in the GD, PI and Essay Writing rounds, a seat in the apex B-School of the country is reserved for you. Here we are talking about CAT 2010 topper Deepak Mehta, who scored 100 percentile in the exam and secured calls for GD, PI and Essay Writing from IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Kozhikode and FMS. After receiving the final admission call from IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta, Deepak has decided to join IIM Ahmedabad.
