NMIMS announces NMAT 2014 dates; 45 days test window begins Oct 5

SVKMs Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) will conduct NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) 2014 in almost one and a half month window beginning 5th October and ending 18th December 2013. The registration for NMAT 2014 will open from 4th July for admissions in its School of Business Management for academic session 2014-16. The registration for NMAT-2014 opens from July 4, 2013.

Inflated CAT Score Scam: MHRD sets up committee to fix accountability

Ministry of HRD has set up a committee to probe into the inflated CAT score scam and fix accountability for the discrepancies that has caused major embarrassment for Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and marred the credibility of the most prestigious MBA entrance exam used by many top non-IIMs for admission process also. In an official statement, IIMs said that a special committee has been set up by the HRD Ministry to probe into the different aspects of the inflated CAT scores published on the official CAT website.

Top PGDM institutes meet HRD Minister Dr Pallam Raju; Seek more autonomy

Directors, Deans and Presidents of top PGDM institutions met Union Minister of HRD Dr M M Pallam Raju on June 26, 2103 in New Delhi and sought more autonomy for them towards making India a hub for management education.

CAT Score Scam: MDI may revise merit list as 5 students identified on roll: MDI Director

Amid CAT Score Scam hitting top B-schools admissions, Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon Director Dr Mukul P Gupta has told MBAUniverse.com that the institute may revise its admission list after 5 students were identified on roll from the list of 80 CAT IDs with inflated scores.

The MDI Director also confirmed to MBAUniverse.com that the institute would initiate action which may result in a fresh merit list for the admission 2013-15.
