AICTE announces first CMAT for 2014 15; adds test venues abroad
AICTE will conduct first CMAT for admission year 2014-15 in a five days window beginning September 26, 2013. The registration for first CMAT of the season begins on July 3, 2013 and the last date for the same is August 21, 2013, AICTE said in a notification.
From this testing season, AICTE has added test venues in five foreign countries including Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Kabul (Afghanistan), Kathmandu (Nepal), Lagos (Nigeria), and Dubai (UAE).

NMIMS announces NMAT 2014 dates; 45 days test window begins Oct 5
SVKMs Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) will conduct NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) 2014 in almost one and a half month window beginning 5th October and ending 18th December 2013. The registration for NMAT 2014 will open from 4th July for admissions in its School of Business Management for academic session 2014-16. The registration for NMAT-2014 opens from July 4, 2013.
Inflated CAT Score Scam: MHRD sets up committee to fix accountability
Ministry of HRD has set up a committee to probe into the inflated CAT score scam and fix accountability for the discrepancies that has caused major embarrassment for Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and marred the credibility of the most prestigious MBA entrance exam used by many top non-IIMs for admission process also. In an official statement, IIMs said that a special committee has been set up by the HRD Ministry to probe into the different aspects of the inflated CAT scores published on the official CAT website.

Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon is amongst the top non-IIMs which are hit by Inflated CAT Score Scam. Dr Mukul P Gupta, Director, MDI Gurgaon, responding to MBAUniverse.com queries, termed the inflated CAT score episode a failure on part of CAT authorities and IIMs and said a just process of recovery is now required.
