Directors, Deans and Presidents of top PGDM institutions met Union Minister of HRD Dr M M Pallam Raju on June 26, 2103 in New Delhi and sought more autonomy for them towards making India a hub for management education.

The PGDM delegation was led by Fr Abraham, Director, XLRI, Prof Joe Philip, President, XIME, Prof Indira Parikh, President, FLAME, Dr G Viswanathan, President, EPSI and Dr H Chaturvedi, Alternate President, EPSI.

Amid CAT Score Scam hitting top B-schools admissions, Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon Director Dr Mukul P Gupta has told MBAUniverse.com that the institute may revise its admission list after 5 students were identified on roll from the list of 80 CAT IDs with inflated scores.

The MDI Director also confirmed to MBAUniverse.com that the institute would initiate action which may result in a fresh merit list for the admission 2013-15.

IIM Kozhikode welcomed the new batch of 2025-27 in the inaugural program held on June 23, 2025. The program was presided over by Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIMK. Aju Jacob, Managing Director, Synthite Industries, was the chief guest. A total of 586 students across three full-time postgraduate programmes were inducted as part of the ceremony.

With IIMs admitting to have released tampered CAT scores for admission to non-IIMs for academic season 2013-15, top B-schools have expressed shock and anger over the development even as they initiated immediate action on admission review process for their new batches.

In a shocking revelation that will impact MBA admission based on CAT 2012 scores and shake up the credibility of CAT exam, IIMs have admitted that CAT scorecards available officially to non-IIMs for admission year 2012-13 have been tampered with inflated scores of some candidates.

According to IIMs, scorecards of as many as 80 testing IDs available on official CAT website have been found inflated as compared to the actual scores available with IIMs in the master datasheet of CAT 2012 scorecards.
