The long wait for new director at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad seems to be over with Dr Ashish Nanda of Harvard Law School set to take over the coveted position at Indias Top B-school, a media report said. According to a report from Indian Express, Harvard professor Dr Ashish Nanda is set to take over as director of IIM Ahmedabad. It is the first time an academic from an overseas institute will head any of the 13 IIMs.

With Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) gaining wider acceptance in B-schools admissions across different states, AICTE has said that about 67,000 candidates have registered for May CMAT to be held in a four day window beginning May 19.

Speaking to MBAUniverse.com, Dr SS Mantha, Chairman, AICTE said, The response to May CMAT has been very encouraging. With more states coming into the fold, we have received about 67,000 registrations from B-school Aspirants across India.
