MBAUniverse.com Interview: In spite of the recent growth, India needs a lot more MBAs, says Dr Ishwar Dayal, Founding Director of IIM-L & Chairman, IWSB

He was the first full time Director of IIM Lucknow (1984) and has been a faculty of IIM Calcutta in 1963, and later in IIM Ahmedabad.
Prof Dayal has also held several positions including the Founder Dean of International Management Institute, New Delhi and Director, Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. He also served several business organizations for about 15 years in companies like Philips India and Metal Box.

NIIT University to offer tech programmes this session; holds seminar on building careers in turbulent times

IMT inaugurates its new campus in Dubai

IMT Dubai started functioning in year 2006. Dr. Farhad Rad-Serecht is the Director of IMT Dubai.

MDI students receive Master in European Business degrees

The ceremony held last month in the Thtre des Varits in Paris saw 265 students representing 45 nationalities. The largest group formed students from Germany, followed by their fellow students from France and Italy.

MAT May 2009 a moderate-difficulty test: An analysis

The total number of questions was 200 which the students had to finish within 150 minutes.

Like the last two years, MAT 2009 stuck to its basic pattern. Though the paper was lengthy, it was of average difficulty level where the candidates can score marks if they perform well in the sections of Logical reasoning, Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability. Thus, according to CAT experts, except Quantitative analysis section, which was a bit difficult, each section had few questions which were easily manageable, thus making the paper scoring.
