NMAT stands for NMIMS Management Aptitude Test. Originally, the exam was conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) for admission to its management programs. However, it is now conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and is officially known as the NMAT by GMAC. Even though NMAT is accepted by many colleges today, the original full form NMIMS Management Aptitude Test is still referred to explain full form.
