Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur

Established in 2015, Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIM Sirmaur) is a Centrally Funded Institution of National Importance set up by the Government of India. As a premier institution, under aegis of Ministry of Education, Gol, it aims to provide Management Education of high quality and promotes allied areas of knowledge and inter-disciplinary studies.

Despite being young, IIM Sirmaur is ranked among the top MBA colleges in India. In Govt of India NIRF Ranking 2023 IIM Sirmaur was Ranked # 98 among top 125 management institutes in the county. IIM Sirmaur has a consistent record of 100% placements and has successfully completed 100% Placement 2023 for its 7th and large MBA batch. Average Salary for the batch has gone up by 13% at Rs.14.45 LPA in 2023 from Rs.12.74 LPA last year. Median Salary has gone up by 6% at Rs.13 LPA from Rs.12.23 LPA last year and the Highest Salary increased by 142% at Rs.64.12 LPA in 2023 from Rs.26.5 LPA last year. IIM Sirmaur had a large batch size of 238 students out of which 224 students participated in placements 2023. 125 companies participated in Placements making lucrative offers to large batch of 224 students. Among the Top recruiters were Deloitte, Accenture, Cognizant, Schneider Electric, Hero Motors, IDBI Capital, L&T, Tata Power, IBM, ICICI, EY, HDFC, Tech Mahindra, DCM Shriram, Volvo Eicher, ZS Associates and many others. 

IIM Sirmaur offers 2 year full time residential MBA; 2 Year full time MBA Tourism Management; 2 Years Non Residential Executive MBA; 2 Years part time Executive MBA in Digital Transformation and Analytics (Ex MBA-DT & A); 5 Years full time Doctoral PhD in Management; 4 Years Executive PhD in Management and other relevant Management Development and Quality Improvement Programmes.  IIM Sirmaur MBA and MBA Tourism admission is through CAT exam score. IIM Sirmaur final admission is through the common PI round CAP conducted for new IIMs. 

Permanent campus measuring 210 acres of IIM Sirmaur is almost ready and is located on Ambala- Dehradun National Highway No. 72 at Dhaula Kuan, District Sirmaur H.P. It is 15 kms from Paonta Sahib, 103 kms from Chandigarh airport, 97 kms from Dehradun airport. The nearest railheads are at Yamuna Nagar (60 Kms) and Dehradun (68 kms).
