Scholarships

MICA Ahmedabad Scholarships, leading to partial or full fee waiver are offered to the students. MICA Scholarships are Merit Based and Need Based which are offered to students in 1st and 2nd year of the MBA courses to support them to pursue the management program with reduced financial burden. MICA Scholarships are awarded annually based on the student's overall academic performance and family income.  The scholarships are awarded to the students who are currently pursuing studies at MICA. The process of evaluating and awarding the scholarships is rigorous.

MICA offers Prof. Bikram Bindra "Equity Scholarship" and other merit and Merit cum Means scholarships. The students from PGP-1 will be eligible to apply. The Criterion for Scholarship selection is based on the Family Income not exceeding Rs. 10 lakhs per annum. Student’s academic performance should be minimum CGPA of 3.00  and class attendance record of minimum 80% in the first year for PGP-2 scholarship. Winning state/national/international level competitions will also add to eligibility.

The maximum number of scholarships to be awarded will be 25 to 27 (to PGP-1, PGP-2, and CCC), including the sponsored from Prof. Bikram Bindra for 1-2 student(s), where Prof. Bindra will provide Rs. 5 Lakhs to the student(s). The scholarship to be awarded for PGP-2 students will be up to 12. MICA will provide the scholarship up to 100% of the tuition fees per student in the programme. The number of scholarships to be awarded for PGP-1 will be up to 11 to 13. For CCC, the scholarsdhip will be awarded up to 2 students. MICA will provide up to 50% of the tuition fees per student in the programme.

Great Lakes PGPM Admission is a two step process involving the Shortlisting criteria and the Final admission selection Criteria. After submission of application for the PGPM program as per the eligibility criteria, the candidate has to go through the following admission process:

Shortlisting: Great Lakes will shortlist the candidates on the basis of following parameters:

  • Great Lakes Institute of Management Gurgaon will consider aggregate scores and not the sectional scores of the applicants in the acceptable entrance exams for shortlisting
  • In case more than one exam is taken by the applicant, Great Lakes will short-list the candidates for the interview based on the best available test scores in CAT/XAT/ CMAT/GMAT/NMAT
  • Academic profile also plays an important role in shortlisting. Candidates with consistent academic background and a demonstrated ability to sustain pressure will make the shortlist. 

Great Lakes Final Selection Criteria:

  • Post short-listing on the basis of available scores, applicants will be called for the final selection round (PI Round) at the designated centres
  • The aptitude test scores are important at the interview shortlisting stage but have limited weightage as far as the final selection is concerned.
  • Performance in Personal Interview (PI) will be awarded high weightage in final selection criteria.
  • Evaluation Criteria in Great Lakes Final Selection will also involve the quality of work experience, professional and personal achievements, demonstrated leadership and team skills, aptitude and attitude.
  • Excellent Academic Scores will be awarded due weightage in final selection round at Great lakes.

Great Lakes PGPM Admission is a two step process involving the Shortlisting criteria and the Final admission selection Criteria. After submission of application for the PGPM program as per the eligibility criteria, the candidate has to go through the following admission process:

Shortlisting: Great Lakes will shortlist the candidates on the basis of following parameters:

  • Great Lakes Institute of Management will consider aggregate scores and not the sectional scores of the applicants in the acceptable entrance exams for shortlisting
  • In case more than one exam is taken by the applicant, Great Lakes will short-list the candidates for the interview ased on the best available test scores in CAT/XAT/ CMAT/GMAT/NMAT
  • Academic profile also plays an important role in shortlisting. Candidates with consistent academic background and a demonstrated ability to sustain pressure will make the shortlist. 

Great Lakes Final Selection Criteria:

  • Post short-listing on the basis of available scores, applicants will be called for the final selection round (PI Round) at the designated centres
  • The aptitude test scores are important at the interview shortlisting stage but have limited weightage as far as the final selection is concerned.
  • Performance in Personal Interview (PI) will be awarded high weightage in final selection criteria.

IMT Ghaziabad offers various Scholarships to meritorious, needy and female students of all the PGDM programmes. Some of the scholarships offered at IMT Ghaziabad are:

Smt Leela Nath Memorial scholarship: All female candidates who are admitted to any of the PGDM programs at IMT Ghaziabad will receive a scholarship of 25% on the academic fees component.

TFW waiver scheme: Candidates eligible and shortlisted for the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme will not be required to pay the academic fee component as they will get a 100% academic fee waiver. 
They will, however, have to pay all other components of the fees. In addition to the same, they will be required to pay an amount of INR 19,000/- per month towards charges for academic amenities and other facilities.

Curriculum

The One Year MBA - GSCM consists of three terms. The first term consists of mandatory courses covering the key tools, concepts and analytical skills used in all major functional areas with a focus on supply chain management. The Fundamental  courses focus on developing the knowledge and analytical ability that support the understanding of the functional areas of business studies. The Functional courses cover the fundamentals of business and management studies and equip the participants to understand and apply advanced concepts. The curriculum is designed to enable participants to become experts in the Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain at a global level. The first-ever One Year MBA program in Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) offered at IIM Udaipur introduces candidates with work experience to management concepts and leadership styles in the emerging digital business enterprises.

The program aims at developing business leaders who will drive the Digital Economy. It is the first MBA in the country in which students focus on learning how to manage digital systems and how to use those systems to make data-driven decisions, lead complex and diverse teams in digital environments.
Structured around leadership, innovation, strategy, decision-making, and entrepreneurship, this program provides a well-rounded exposure to business management, data analytics and emerging technologies that are high in demand in the corporate world.

The one year program provides participants with a solid foundation in management fundamentals and also exposes them to contemporary practices of data-driven decision making. Students will learn from academicians and industry practitioners through case studies, simulations and practical lab projects about processes and practices prevalent in digital enterprises, which will prepare them to face the challenges of the emerging digital world.

One Year MBA in DEM enables professionals to prepare for the next phase of their careers in management and leadership roles in emerging digital enterprises. By reinforcing their existing strengths and helping them acquire new skills in managing emerging technologies like AI, Blockchain and IoT, the DEM program fosters experiential learning from interactions with academicians and practitioners from the digital world.

Applicants need to Fill the online application form and should upload required documents which include GMAT/ GRE/CAT Score, Transcripts, Degree certificate,
Work experience documents, Work experience certificates, Relieving letter from the last company, Appointment letter and payslip for the most recent month from the current organization. Besides, the applicant has to attach Video profile ( 2 minute video profile about yourself and why you would like to take up this programme). 

Other relevant documents may also be submitted, for example-Awards and recognitions, Competition results etc. The Documents may be submitted in PDF, Doc, Docx or JPEG formats. The application should be submitted with Application fee of INR 1000/- which should be paid online using Credit Card/Debit Card.

Curriculum

Designed as a full-time residential program, MBA -DEM at IIM Udaipur, is structured around five pillars to give a unique experience in acquiring knowledge and developing managerial skills relevant to the digital era and the art of learning continuously. 

Fundamentals of Business Management: One Year MBA - DEM provides a grounding in the principles of management concepts and fundamentals of business activities like finance and accounting, economics, marketing, organizational behavior and operations. Core skill development gets enhanced through subjects like Business Statistics and Communication.

Fundamentals of Digital Enterprise: DEM provides specific focus on the management of such organisations which are modelled on parameters of scale, speed and scope. DEM covers Design Thinking, strategic management and leadership skills required to create and sustain a digital organization. The program prepares managers to manage transformations and to thrive in agile organisation structures with fungible roles and responsibilities.

Data Analytics & Technology Management: DEM program prepares its participants for analytics - a method of drawing inferences from a large and complex pool of data. The techniques learnt will help a discerning mind to develop capabilities in data collection, organisation and using them for strategic and operational decision making. The art and science of spotting trends and interpreting the results, and articulating the discoveries from new patterns, are important skills to hone. 

Digital Industry Practices: DEM covers digitalization in the context of different industries such as FinTech, Healthcare, B2B Marketing and Social Sector. 

Solving Business Problems: Understanding technologies and data from close quarters is the purpose of doing projects. Projects involve solving business problems by developing a practical solution which is demonstrable in lab conditions.

Eligibility Description

The Eligibility Criteria for IIM Udaipur MBA DEM admission have following points: 

  • Minimum of 10+2 years of school education and a Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks
  • Minimum three years of bachelor’s level education after the completion of higher secondary schooling.
  • Valid GMAT or GRE score (not older than 5 years from date of GMAT/GRE exam) or CAT score of tests taken in 2021 or later.
  • Full-time work experience (after graduation) of minimum 36 months
