IMT Hyderabad offers value added Business Leadership programme-Leadership Engagement & Academic Programme (LEAP) to the students to nurture communication skills, cognitive & interpersonal skills, digital skills, to develop business acumen. IMT Hyderabad admission process comprises two steps – Shortlisting and final selection round. The admission process is now conducted Offline at specific locations. Step wise IMT Hyderabad admission process is as below:

Check Shortlist. The applicants are shortlisted based on their profiles, eligibility and entrance exam score.
Participate in Final Selection Round. Candidates will undergo a Critical Thinking Test and a Personal Interview.
Final Selection & Admission Offer. For selection, the applicants’ overall profile and strong and consistent performance in 10th grade, 12th grade and every year of graduation is needed. Candidates should clear the cut off and will be awarded weightage on entrance exam score. Relevant work experience will also be given due weightage in final selection.
IMT Hyderabad students of the PGDM Programme earn their credits through compulsory courses, specialization courses and the internship project. The rigorous nature of the program equips the students with necessary hard and soft skills to eventually excel in the leadership role. The program offers various streams of specializations from the various functional areas and the students can opt for their chosen specialization domain.
All courses at IMT Hyderabad undergo constant update to reflect contemporary topics in the management world. IMT Hyderabad offers three options to complete the summer term of about 3-4 months duration after first year and before commencement of second year course i) Students can opt for Internships (IP); ii) can opt for Student Exchange Programme (SEP), iii) Or can pursue Management Thesis & Seminars (MTS). The Management Orientation Program (MOP) at IMT Hyderabad is called ABHYUDAY. It is a two week long introductory module that prepares students for the management coursework. ABHYDAY has been designed by factoring students’ background, diversity and experience. The orientation program includes orientation sessions, group activities, panel discussion on corporate expectations and an outbound activity. Senior corporate professionals will be part of a panel discussion on “Industry Expectations from Management Graduates”. The focus will be on knowledge, skill, and attitude required for a successful corporate career. ABHYUDAY intends to prepare students, from diverse backgrounds, for the common experience of the PGDM program; to help students get on board for shared academic learning and address individual concerns; to initiate students’ to management courses, corporate expectations, experiential and group learning. Set the tone for learning in the PGDM program and to appreciate the importance of peer learning, group activities and facilitate student bonding in the batch.
In its PGDM programmes, IMT Hyderabad offers specialization in Marketing, Finance & Accounting, HRM, General Management, Analytics & IT, Operations Management.
The candidate should apply to IMT Hyderabad by using the common application form for all IMT campuses (IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Nagpur, IMT Hyderabad & IMT Dubai). The application processing fee is INR 3500 plus applicable bank charges. You can pay the application fees online through the admission portal using Net Banking, Debit / Credit Card, or UPI.
To complete the application form, candidates need to provide their educational qualifications and contact details. In addition, they must submit at least one of the acceptable Entrance Exam IDs - ID for CAT, or ID for XAT, ID for GMAT. Candidates can submit more than one test ID.
Key Points in the eligibility criteria to apply for IMT Hyderabad PGDM admission are:

IMT Hyderabad offers wide range of scholarships to the students in PGDM programmes as below:
Merit scholarships for candidates with high scores in Admission Tests: All candidates with high scores in CAT 2023/ XAT 2024/GMAT. The candidates eligible for merit scholarship for 90+ percentile category and with GMAT score of 650+ may receive a scholarship of 40 percent on academic fee component
TFW Scholarships to students: IMT Hyderabad offers Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme. The TFW scholarship category selected candidates may receive a 100% academic fee waiver.
Shri Mahendra Nath Memorial Scholarships: It is Merit cum needs based scholarship and is applicable for second year students only. Scholarship amount is of Rs.1 Lakh
Smt. Leela Nath Memorial Scholarships for female candidates: All female candidates of the PGDM programs. Eligible Students will receive a scholarship of 20% on academic fee component.
