Leaving behind IIM CAT 2024, XLRI has opened the XAT 2025 (Xavier Aptitude Test-2025) Registration process from July 15, 2024. Last year also XAT registration process opened from July 15. This is the second time in the history of Xavier Aptitude Test that XAT registration date has opened before the CAT registration. Last date to register and apply for XAT 2025 is November 30, 2024. More than 250 Management Institutes including XLRI, XIMB, MICA, IMI, IMT will accept XAT 2025 score for admission 2025.

NIRF Rankings 2024 Release Delayed: Implications and When to Expect?
The release of 9th Edition of NIRF Management Ranking 2024 has been delayed. Last year the NIRF Ranking was released on June 5, 2023 but this year it has not been released so far. After the formation of Modi 3.0 Government at Centre on June 9, 2024 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it was expected that the newly appointed Union Minister of Education will release the NIRF ranking in a few days. However, the same is yet to be released. The delay in release of NIRF ranking is making adverse impact both on B-schools and students.

India is going to have its 22nd IIM soon! A completely new IIM is being planned in Assam near Guwahati. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has already inspected the site for IIM Assam in Kamrup district in Guwahati. IIM Assam shall be mentored by IIM Ahmedabad and it is expected it will start operating in 2024 from a temporary campus till its permanent campus is constructed. A formal announcement from the Ministry of Education is expected soon.

The Ministry of Education, Government of India has geared up to release the 9th Edition of Indias most credible NIRF Ranking 2024 soon, after a delay of more than one month than last year. It is expected that NIRF 2024 ranking will be released in July 2024 in 13 categories including NIRF Management Ranking 2024. Last year the NIRF Ranking was released on June 5, 2023 by the Minister of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.
