Who is Navya Naveli Nanda and what is this controversy?
Navya Naveli Nanda is the granddaughter of Superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Her father Nikhil Nanda is a businessman and mother Shweta Bachchan is the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan. According to her LinkedIn account, Navya Nanda has done Bachelor of Arts - BA, Digital Technology from Fordham University during 2016 – 2020. She has also done internships at several large companies including Facebook, Ogilvy and Godrej Industries. She is currently and entrepreneurs as the Founder of ‘Aara Health’.

Indian Institute of Management Udaipur
Established in 2011 by Government of India, IIM Udaipur was one of the fastest-growing management schools in the country with a flourishing research ecosystem. IIM Udaipur runs 2 Years full time MBA Program, and many Executive MBA programs.
IIM Udaipur NIRF Rankings slipped by 6 ranks from #16 in NIRF 2023 to #22 in NIRF 2024. Check table 1 (a) below. Indeed, it is disappointing to see IIM Udaipur falling out of Top 20 Ranked B-schools in NIRF 2024 Ranking.

At the top of the charts is MICA Ahmedabad which has significantly improve its ranking in spite of being a niche B-school with a strong focus on marketing and allied areas. MICA has improved its rankings in NIRF Management Ranking 2024 by 5 rankings – moving up from #37 to #32. Check table 1 (a) below.
