At the top of the charts is MICA Ahmedabad which has significantly improve its ranking in spite of being a niche B-school with a strong focus on marketing and allied areas. MICA has improved its rankings in NIRF Management Ranking 2024 by 5 rankings – moving up from #37 to #32. Check table 1 (a) below.

At the top of the charts is Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) New Delhi. IIFT jumped by, hold your breath!, 12 ranks to get ranked at #15 in NIRF Management Ranking 2024. Check table 1 (A) below.

The high RoI Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, the oldest institute for professional social work education offers low fee M.A. programs with high placements. Its M.A. HRM & LR program is one of the most sought after management programs and is at par with IIMs, XLRI and other top B-schools. While the total program fee is only Rs.185,000, average and highest package in TISS Placements are as high as Rs.27.22 LPA and Rs.49 LPA respectively. TISS Mumbai has been ranked #58 among top 200 universities in India in Govt of India NIRF Ranking 2024.

Conducted by XLRI, Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2025, an important MBA entrance exam is scheduled on January 5, 2025.  For XAT 2025, XLRI has announced many changes in the exam pattern and duration including reduction in number of questions, dropping Essay Writing Test, Reduced number of GK questions, reducing XAT exam time duration.

XAT Admit Card is released by XLRI on December 20, 2019 for XAT 2020 exam. The XAT 2020 Admit Card download is available from official XAT website xatonline.in. You can download your XAT 2020 hall ticket by clicking on login link and entering your XAT login id and password. The last date to download XAT 2020 exam admit card is January 5, 2020, the XAT exam day.

Giving another blow to the management institutes who are running university affiliated UGC approved MBA programmes as well as AICTE approved PGDM programmes, the controller of technical education in India, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has issued instructions that both the courses cannot be conducted by the same institute. 

XLRI has announced aspirant friendly changes in XAT 2025 Exam which is scheduled on January 5, 2025 as a computer based test. Sharing the changes with MBAUniverse.com, XAT 2025 exam centre has informed, “The XAT Administration is pleased to announce significant updates to the pattern of the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) for the year 2025. These changes are part of our ongoing efforts to streamline the examination process and enhance the evaluative components that align more closely with the core competencies required for management education and leadership.”
