Joining the likes of large corporates like Reliance and HCL, US$ 19.4 billion Mahindra Group has launched Mahindra University (MU) Hyderabad on July 24. It is part of the Mahindra Educational Institutions, a not-for-profit subsidiary of Tech Mahindra. MU was notified by the Government of Telangana vide an Ordinance dated 20th May 2020.

Spread across 130-acre campus in Hyderabad, MUwill offer undergraduate, post graduate and PhD courses in Management, Law and other areas from 2021. MU already includes the Ecole Centrale School of Engineering that was set up in 2014.

There are few Leaders and even fewer Institution Builders in any sector or industry. So is the case with higher education and management education. One of the very few true Institution Builders in Indian Management Education is Prof J Philip.
